The Athletic expedition is in Madrid to take on Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday, 21 March (20:00, Estrada Fernández, Canal +). The Red-Whites departed on a charter flight at 19:30 hours and approximately sixty minutes later landed at Barajas Airport, where they were welcomed by several fans.
At the airport they got on the club bus and went to the Eurostars Madrid Tower Hotel, where they had their technical chat upon arrival. Dinner will be at 21:45 hours.
The Board members Alberto Uribe-Echevarria and Laura Martínez are leading the expedition. It’s a clear day in Madrid with at temperature of 11 degrees.
