The Athletic Club Foundation, along with the Regional Library, has organized the third edition of the cycle "Literature and Football". Under the title "Literature, Football and its environs" and through three encounters, the relationship of football with Literature such as cinema, music or bertsolarismo (oral poetry) will be explored.

There will be three sessions on 3, 7 and 17 of May, with the following subjects and participants:

* 3 May, Thursday, 19:00 hours: "Soccer and Cinema" with Carlos Marañón (Director of Cinemanía and author of the book "Cinema and Football"), Julian Lopez (actor) and David Trueba (Director and Writer).

* 7 May, Monday, 19:00 hours: "Futbola!" (Football) bertsolaris (bards) session with a football theme with Andoni Egaña, Jon Maia, Iratxe Ibarra and Onintza Enbeitia, with a presentation by Asier Altuna.

* 17 May, Thursday, 19:00 hours: "Fútbol y música" (Football and Music) with Alejo Stivel (Lead singer of Tequila and musical producer), Gari (Musician, former lead Singer of Ertzainak), Antonio Agredano (poet and lyricist and bassist for Deneuve) and Antonio Luque (Mr. Chinarro).

All lectures are free, whilst seating capacity exists.
