Athletic Club said goodbye for this season in San Mamés and did it without goals against Getafe, five days before playing the first final of the two ones taking place for the Season 11/12. Victory was not reached, but everyone who has come around to the Cathedral said goodbye to the team with a great ovation, conscious that they must raise their spirits on their way to Bucharest.
Today’s match has been faced with several changes in the line up, amongst which Raul’s presence stood out, who was first-team player for the first time this Liga, and the home debut as starter of Jonas Ramalho.
Red and whites earned more merits than their rivals, but at the end their equalize without goals leaves the team in the middle position of the chart. At least no injuries are to be regretted.
However, only the Bucharest final is on the horizon and that will be another story, we hope will allow us to pass from the eurodream to the reality of writing an even more indelible page than what reflects what has already been gained. Let’s hope it will be so!
