With regard to the statements made on 5 July by Marcelo Bielsa, related to the renovations being performed at the Lezama facilities, the Athletic Club Board of directors would like to express the following:

1. - Athletic Club does, not in the least, share the personal and subjective opinion expressed by Marcelo Bielsa in yesterday’s press conference, with respect to the renovation work being performed, degree of compliance of the contract and professionalism of the people involved in the construction project.

2. - Athletic Club would also like to highlight the correct compliance of the building contract completed to date, which is why the club would like to publicly apologize for any damages that the statements made by an Athletic Club employee may have caused to the construction company and its workers.

3. - The responsibility on the control and execution of the work that is being performed these days in Lezama correspond exclusively to Athletic Club, an organization that has highly-qualified professionals and with enough technical criteria to evaluate these meaningful tasks and whose opinion shall always be pronounced and expressed through the interlocutors and by the media that the rudimentary organization standards and common sense recommend.
