The Athletic Club expedition is already in Madrid to face Real Madrid on Sunday, 22 January (Santiago Bernabéu, 21:30 hours, C+), in the match corresponding to the first Liga matchday in its day postponed due to the footballer’s strike. The group is headed by President Josu Urrutia, board members Laura Martinez and Angel Gorostidi; Sports director Jose Mari Amorrortu and associate to the presidency Jose Angel Iribar.
They all departed on a charter flight at 19:30 hours from Bilbao airport and arrived in Barajas at 20:30 hours. Upon arrival they transferred to the hotel Hesperia Madrid on the official bus and are scheduled to have dinner at 21:30 hours.
