At San Mamés

This is a picture of me and my wife, with another couple on our first visit to San Mamés. I didn’t think she’d like it, but home is where the heart is. We now live in Palencia for job reasons, and I can assure you it won’t be the last time we go. It may not sound true, but after always hearing her say: “football again!” she’s now the most captivated by the spirit of the Cathedral, and she can’t wait to repeat the experience.

Three matches have gone by, and we still haven’t seen Athletic win yet, but Eneko has not lost all hope, during the last match he saw Yeste score a super goal and was as happy as Larry all week. What a great body and how well the Athletic gear looks on him!
